I painted at Stone Mountain, Georgia last fall during their plein air paint out competition. As soon as I arrived, I knew exactly where I wanted to go - the Carillon! The carillon is a beautiful sculptural set of bells that are rung throughout the morning with a concert around noon. It was lovely! I find so interesting the modern sculpture of the carillon nestled in the midst of trees and nature, reflecting in the surrounding water. Beautiful!
